Projects
sms4science
Between 2009 and 2015 I worked in various positions in the project sms4science.ch. The aim of the international project was to investigate the communication by SMS and to analyse the specific linguistic characteristics of this type of communication. In order to achieve this, scientists from different countries joined forces to create an extensive SMS corpora in as many languages as possible. The Swiss part of the project was led by Elisabeth Stark.
What's up, Switzerland?
The project What's up, Switzerland?, in which I worked as a coordinator, investigated the linguistic characteristics of WhatsApp communication. It was a non-commercial, universitary research project and was not associated with WhatsApp or Facebook. The SNSF approved a grant for research funding in 2015. The project started on 1 January 2016 and run until 2020. The project was led by Elisabeth Stark.
